Terms of Service

Last updated August 15, 2026

Using this site

These terms cover your use of this website and the trial and enrollment forms operated by Yarber's Martial Arts & Self-Defense, 3900 W. Northside Dr.. By submitting a form you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 18, or that a parent or legal guardian is completing it for a student under 18.

Trials, classes and enrollment

Submitting a trial request or enrollment form is a request, not a confirmed booking. Dojo staff review every submission and confirm your class time, start date and billing setup directly. Class sizes are limited, and schedules, programs and pricing may change. Training requires an accepted participant waiver.

Membership and payments

Membership pricing is shown at the time of enrollment. Recurring memberships bill on a monthly cycle until cancelled. Card payments are processed by Stripe. To change, pause or cancel a membership, contact the dojo at yarbersmartialarts@gmail.com.

SMS and messaging

  • Voluntary opt-in. Text messages are optional. You only receive them if you check the SMS consent box on our form or otherwise give us express permission. You can submit any form without opting in, and consent is not a condition of purchase or of participation.
  • Types of messages. Recurring informational and promotional messages about your trial and classes, schedule and class reminders, attendance and follow-up, and membership or service updates.
  • Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your activity with the dojo.
  • Carrier charges. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for assistance. You can also email us to be removed. Opting out of texts does not remove you from email or phone contact needed to run your membership.
  • Support contact. yarbersmartialarts@gmail.com.

How we handle consent records is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile phone information and SMS consent data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Conduct and safety

Martial arts training involves physical contact and risk of injury. Students are expected to follow instructor direction, dojo etiquette and studio policies, including the annual fundraiser participation requirement. We may end participation for conduct that puts others at risk.

Content and changes

Curriculum materials, class plans and site content belong to Yarber's Martial Arts. We may update these terms; the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site or your membership after a change means you accept the updated terms.
